What is Cyber Magick? Cyber Magick is the technological path to the hidden mysteries. A spell is a psychic program for the universe to run for you, or in you. The practitioner is no more than flesh for hardware, a consciousness for software and spirit for the energy to animate it. Virtually any magickal system can be assimilated, giving the practitioner a wide range of experience and ability, including synthesizing the systems together and openhanded techniques to work them. The Element of Shadow If there is a bright, shining light in living things generally called the Element of Spirit, then there must be an equal and opposite force holding the Spirit in place in the living thing. The Shadow as it appears in Egyptian metaphysics and Jung’s psychology represents both the base nature of man and, when systematically refined, his ultimate potential as an instrument of his will. Just as light can act as either a particle or a wave, Shadow is dual-formed: Substance and Information. As a substance it is the “physicality” of the subtle body, a structure that the practitioner can change into an animal (shape shifting) or a god (theurgy). Of course, it is the information of that animal or god the practitioner is aiming to receive. Being essentially without mass yet taking up space, information can be sent, received, and manipulated towards any desired outcome. The Five Arts of Cyber Magick 1) Sampling is taking a sample of someone’s energy. This sometimes has the effect of their behavioral traits showing up in you. This can be done by touch, conversation, or seeing their features in place of your own during trance. 2) Downloading is the receiving of information directly from the Source, Heaven, God, or whatever otherworldly place you can imagine. This information may not be consciously known at the time, as the full meaning of which is revealed when one is ready. 3) Partitioning is the separation of different energy states within the subtle body, like a membrane whose permeability can be adjusted. There are also external extensions of the subtle body that are either connected or autonomous. Mnemonic partitioning (memory blocks) are a natural response to trauma as well as a convenient way of forgetting your magickal intent. 4) Tasking is the use of thought-forms to break down the sometimes tremendous amount of

feedback from high-level rituals. If these servitors or elementals are well developed through intensive practice, they can take over tasks for the practitioner in both the sending and receiving of the magickal intent, or set up a closed loop, accomplishing nothing. The difference is how the signs from one’s environment are interpreted. 5) Escaping is dreaming while awake. The idea here is to eliminate or bypass the subconscious barrier for controlled periods. The blending of the conscious and the unconscious must be finely balanced to create a “What if?” scenario that goes spontaneously creating an interactive storyline that is also a reliable message of your nature or purpose. Correspondence Synthesis This is the study of similarities of the parts of different paradigmal systems. For example, the element of fire is a part of the elemental systems of Wicca and Enochian. It shares qualities with both the Sun and Mars from the Hermetic system, as well as Gevurah and Tiphareth from the Hebrew Kabalah. It is also the forging of links between those parts, creating a tapestry of meaning. What therapists like to call synesthesia, where one type of stimulus leads to another, is actually the point of this exercise. Lastly, it is the addition to and extension of those systems into a convergent whole. Much more difficult is the “reading between the lines” of all these systems taken together. It is our sense of reason that makes simple things more complex. The elements of earth, air, fire, and water combine to form spirit, which seems to be common knowledge to most magick users. However, not many have posited that the element of shadow is the equal and opposite of spirit. Is this a synthetic judgment a priori? If so, how far can this practice go?
