What Is Eclipse? The earth revolves around the sun and the moon revolves around the earth. During this a time comes when these three comes in a line. Some times earth comes in between the sun and moon similarly sometimes moon comes between the earth and sun. In this process sun light is stopped by them to make shadow of moon on earth or to make shadow of earth on moon , known as Eclipse.
Types of Eclipse
There are two types of Eclipse: 1. 2.
Solar Eclipse Lunar Eclipse

Solar Eclipse:
When moon comes in between sun and earth ,it does not allow sun’s light to fall on earth and form a shadow on earth. This is called Solar Eclipse.

Lunar Eclipse:
When earth comes in between moon and sun and earth shadow falls on moon, it is called Lunar Eclipse. During this earth, sun and moon comes in one line as shown below:
