This international seminar is organised by The Engineering Group of the Geological Society, British Geotechnical Association, Institute of Highways and Transportation and the International Geosynthetics Society UK Chapter to discuss and promote technical progress and understanding of recent issues in the design and construction of earthworks in European countries. Cette conférence internationale est organisée par les institutions suivants, The Engineering Group of the Geological Society, British Geotechnical Association, Institute of Highways and Transportation and the International Geosynthetics Society UK Chapter Group a pour objectif la promotion des dernières innovations techniques ainsi que la compréhension des récents développements (et de leurs risques associés) en termes de conception et de réalisation de terrassements en Europe.

The two day event is to include reception drinks during the poster session at the Royal Geographical Society and a bowl food dinner in the Making of the Modern World gallery at the Science Museum. Selected papers given by the keynote speakers and presenters will be collated into an Engineering Group Special Publication. Posters are welcome.
