___________________ Earth Model Instructions 1. Cut a circle with a 14 cm diameter out of Blue Construction Paper.

2. Cut a circle with a 13 cm diameter out of Brown Construction Paper.

3. Cut a circle with a 7 cm diameter out of Yellow Construction Paper.

4. Cut a circle with a 2.5 cm diameter out of Black Construction Paper.

5. Glue each layer into your Lab Notebook, starting with the blue circle as the bottom layer, and ending with the black circle as the top layer.

6. Title your model at the top of your notebook page.

7. Label each of the Earth’s Layers with their name, distance (if found), and at least two physical descriptions (note: two of the layers listed below do not have their own color because they are part of other layers). a. Mantle b. Crust c. Inner Core

d. Outer Core e. Asthenosphere f. Lithosphere

8. Have an arrow connecting the label to the layer.
