The City of Tucson, Pima County and The University of Arizona invite you to participate in a Conversation on Climate Action. The discussion will be on the challenges of climate change in southern Arizona and the community’s values, perceptions, and priorities regarding climate change mitigation and adaptation. This important community event will help inform the City’s General Plan Update, the County’s Comprehensive Plan revision, and The University of Arizona’s President’s Climate Commitment Plan.

Block Party
Campus Sustainability Walking Tours Explore the sustainability features of the UA campus by taking a self guided tour. Maps will be available at the Earth Day Block Party.
The University of Arizona’s Institute of the Environment will convene more than 35 faculty to present results of their latest cutting-edge environmental research at the summit. UA President Robert Shelton and Provost and Executive Vice President Meredith Hay will give an overall perspective on UA environmental research, and each scientist will speak briefly about the results of a recent environmental research project.
