E-used Book System-proposed Business Model For Ftmsk

E-USED BOOK SYSTEM-PROPOSED BUSINESS MODEL FOR FTMSK ABSTRACT The growth of technology in millennium era shows the improvements of information technology usage which internet can be used as marketing medium. Even though, there is no exception on using internet as parts of life, there is still no system for selling and buying used book online in Faculty of Information Technology and Quantitative Sciences (FTMSK), UiTM Shah Alam. Due to this situation, the researcher did a research on proposing a business model for e-used book system for FTMSK. The business model is mainly aimed to assist the developer to build a proper system with the business model as the guideline. Business model serves as a basis for the information system model to ensure consistency and accurate requirements being passed on to the software design.

The

research covers respondent’s perceptions towards developing business model for the system, respondent’s awareness and also the knowledge about manual system and automated system of used book selling and buying transactions.

To complete the research, important approaches

such as interview and questionnaires are done to the related respondents. The results of the approaches are being used to develop a suitable business model for e-used book system for FTMSK.
