SPECIFICATION Product Acrylic Coated Wallpaper Environmental Information Environmental aspects on Duro’s wallpapers Since the 1950:ies Duro has been consistent in choosing raw materials that are harmless for the environment and health in our production, e.g. only water based coatings, that are harmless for the environment, are used in the production. This also results in that no harmful waste is produced in the process of making the wallpaper and it also gives us a healthy environment in our production plant. Allergy/Asthma The wallpaper is produced without material that will provoke allergic reaction. All wallpapers produced by Duro are free from heavy metals, PVC, solvents and other environmental harmful substances. Solvent-free The wallpaper contains no solvents, since all Duro’s products are produced with water based printing ink. Recycling and Waste The wallpaper can be paper or energy recycled. No wallpaper of Duro is considered as hazardous waste. Packaging All the packaging is recyclable. Duro is connected to the Swedish REPAregister. Formaldehyde Formaldehyde occurs naturally in pulp, therefore formaldehyde can be detected from wallpaper. The formaldehyde emission from the paper base is well below the limits set by the standard RAL-GZ 479: 2002.

Wallpaper hanged on not combustible foundation will not affect the course of the fire. The fire classification is class I on not combustible foundation, class II on plaster board according to standard SS 02 48 23 (NT FIRE 004).
Opacity:
We have chosen a special paper base, which together with our ink covers the background totally.
Adhesive recommendation:
Modified starch or cellulose based adhesive. The adhesive is applied to the back of the wallpaper. After 5 minutes soaking the wallpaper is ready to be attached to the wall.

1. Before you hang the wallpaper, make sure the surface is even. Tear off any loose pieces. Fill uneven parts and wallpaper joints with filler.

6. Use a length of string attached to something heavy such as a pair of scissors to check that the length really is hanging straight.

10. Butt join lengths (do not overlap). Remove bubbles in the same way as before, and be particularly careful at the joints.

7. Even out the wallpaper and remove the bubbles with the papering tool. Be careful at the edge of the length in order not to get any glue on the tool.

In a corner you have to cut the length. Apply glue to the wall, about the width of the wallpaper strip. Let the first part of the length pass into the corner with an overhang of about 2cm. Inside corners: Hang the next length with an overlap all the way into the corner. Apply some glue onto that section of the wallpaper that ends up under the overlap. Wipe off any excess glue with some water and a sponge.
4. Put the roll into the QuickUp box and pull up the first length.

Trim the section near the floor. Use the large spatula as a guide. Change the blade often, a dull blade will tear the wallpaper.
12. Outside corners: Hang the next length with an overhang of about 5mm onto the next wall to avoid tearing it if you should brush against the corner when passing. Check that the length is hanging straight. Wipe off any excess glue with some water and a sponge.
Duros QuickUp wallpaper are manufactured in a dimensionally stable and environmental friendly material. You can of course paste the back of the wallpaper as you do traditionally and then hang the lengths on the wall. The wallpapers nor swell neither schrink. When you hang a border you paste the back of the border. Good ventilation is important after hanging your wallpapers.

5. When you have pulled it out to about half of its length, fold it over, patterned side outwards. Pull out the rest and fold it in the same manner. Let it soak for about five minutes before you hang it up.

3. Cut the length with a few centimeters to spare. The outer part of the roll must be towards the floor.
4. Fill the trough with water. Add a few drops of detergent to the water. Always keep it filled. Press the rolled-up length into the water. Take hold of the short end of the length and pull. Make sure that water covers the entire rear surface of the wallpaper.

(5.) Fold both ends carefully to meet in the middle with pasteside inwards. Make sure that the edges are aligned. Leave it to soak for a few minutes (see the label).
6. Start wallpapering by a window. Cover approximately half the room up to a door or a corner on the opposite wall. Then start again by the window, and cover rest of the room. When you get to a lightswitch or a power socket, turn off the electricity at the mains and remove the protective cover.

13. When you get to a corner, wet or glue, and fold the length as usual. Make sure the sides are truly aligned. Divide the length lengthwise so that the first section goes around the corner with about a two centimeter overhang. Use a cutting block and a cutting ruler.
14. Make sure the first length goes all the way into the corner. Hang the second part with a bit of overlap. Use your string and scissors to ensure that the length hangs true, even if the patterns do not match up perfectly.

Covers uneven surfaces (I.e. painted glass fiber fabric). It brings a smooth surface for paperhanging and painting. The material is so flexibel that you can use it even as roof improvement.
hanging INSTRUCTIONS
1. Check that the goods are without visible errors.
2. The walls must be dry and clean. Unfixed foundation should be corrected. Strong absorbing surfaces may need grounding.
3. Cut the length in appropriate size. Apply glue on the wall (use ready mix for heavy wallpaper for securing equalizing) and put up the Easy Cover. You can test on a smaller surface to see the effects on your foundation.
4. Easy Cover is putted up edge to edge. You may also put it up with overlap and then cut through both layers. You will then get a perfect joint.
5. At the corners the lengths should be completed.
6. Smooth out Easy Cover with a wallpapertool. Note. Avoid pushing to hard into the structure.
TIP!
Checklist?
Outer corner: When overlapping, then the regular wallpaper should overlap according practice. When over-painting, then the corner should be glass fibre strengthened and puttied.

7. Let dry approximately 24 hours. Put wallpaper or indoorpaint above the Easy Cover according recommendations from the producer.

In a corner you have to cut the length. Apply glue to the wall, about the width of the wallpaper strip. Let the first part of the length pass into the corner with an overhang of about 2cm. Inside corners: Hang the next length with an overlap all the way into the corner. Apply some glue onto that section of the wallpaper that ends up under the overlap. Wipe off any excess glue with some water and a sponge.

12. Outside corners: Hang the next length with an overhang of about 5mm onto the next wall to avoid tearing it if you should brush against the corner when passing. Check that the length is hanging straight. Wipe off any excess glue with some water and a sponge.
Duros QuickUp wallpaper are manufactured in a dimensionally stable and environmental friendly material. You can of course paste the back of the wallpaper as you do traditionally and then hang the lengths on the wall. The wallpapers nor swell neither schrink. When you hang a border you paste the back of the border. Good ventilation is important after hanging your wallpapers.

5. When you have pulled it out to about half of its length, fold it over, patterned side outwards. Pull out the rest and fold it in the same manner. Let it soak for about five minutes before you hang it up.

3. Cut the length with a few centimeters to spare. The outer part of the roll must be towards the floor.
4. Fill the trough with water. Add a few drops of detergent to the water. Always keep it filled. Press the rolled-up length into the water. Take hold of the short end of the length and pull. Make sure that water covers the entire rear surface of the wallpaper.

(5.) Fold both ends carefully to meet in the middle with pasteside inwards. Make sure that the edges are aligned. Leave it to soak for a few minutes (see the label).
6. Start wallpapering by a window. Cover approximately half the room up to a door or a corner on the opposite wall. Then start again by the window, and cover rest of the room. When you get to a lightswitch or a power socket, turn off the electricity at the mains and remove the protective cover.

14. Make sure the first length goes all the way into the corner. Hang the second part with a bit of overlap. Use your string and scissors to ensure that the length hangs true, even if the patterns do not match up perfectly.

Covers uneven surfaces (I.e. painted glass fiber fabric). It brings a smooth surface for paperhanging and painting. The material is so flexibel that you can use it even as roof improvement.
hanging INSTRUCTIONS
1. Check that the goods are without visible errors.
2. The walls must be dry and clean. Unfixed foundation should be corrected. Strong absorbing surfaces may need grounding.
3. Cut the length in appropriate size. Apply glue on the wall (use ready mix for heavy wallpaper for securing equalizing) and put up the Easy Cover. You can test on a smaller surface to see the effects on your foundation.
4. Easy Cover is putted up edge to edge. You may also put it up with overlap and then cut through both layers. You will then get a perfect joint.
5. At the corners the lengths should be completed.
6. Smooth out Easy Cover with a wallpapertool. Note. Avoid pushing to hard into the structure.
