The Course – a NAARM initiative • The PGD-IPTMA is a pioneering initiative of NAARM which has tremendous experience in training and sensitizing professionals in the field of Agricultural Management. • The initiative of NAARM is to create a course and platform for Agriculture and related Graduates to equip themselves with the contemporary knowledge and skills in IP and Tech Management. • This is a first of its kind attempt and has no models in front of it. Background • The Intellectual Property Regime in India has been integrated to Global standards through the adherence of the TRIPS agreement. • The Legislations on various IP regimes are in place in compliance with TRIPS agreement. • The Process of Capacity Building is of utmost importance to translate the legislative process to effective returns for the economy. • Help Draft a Course curriculum – That empowers the trainees to bridge the gap between India’s traditional strengths and currently emerging Global Technology Trends. – That leads to innovative solutions and technological breakthroughs which enhances the benefits to the stakeholders and the employment opportunities of the graduates.
Purpose of the Workshop
• In creating a new model–this brainstorming session assumes a great importance to have effective inputs to design the curriculum and deliverables to the aspiring candidates. • The Brainstorming session is designed to bring Academics, Industry professionals and Government Officials to comment, critique and suggest a balanced curriculum structure and teaching deliverables .
