Winter Doorway Embroidery 1. Birdseed You need embroidery thread in cream, light brown and dusky pink. Embroider the feedring with cream thread working stemstitches. Add birdseed with colonial knots in cream, light brown and dusky pink thread and fill the ring with knots.

tighten thread Colonial Knot Loop the thread around the needle forming a figure 8. Turn the needle counterclockwise. Carefully tighten the knot. Take the needle to the back of the fabric close to where it first came out and finally fix the knot.
2. Doorknob Embroider the knob with satinstitches using brown thread. Stitch around with backstitches.
3. Doorwreath Stitch red beads to the wreath.
