Discuss how can we better manage the traffic situation in Calamba. The traffic here in Calamba is not getting any better, with more people in a city the more crowded it will get. Though the means of finding transportation will be easy there will always be a negative side to it with transportation made easy because of its availability. That means more jeepneys, buses, and tricycles not only that there will also be trucks and private cars in the open road. Making the road more packed and with that traffic jams will always be a problem not only that will it be packed; car accidents will be unavoidable for many reasons. And with that another reason is stated for what can be the cause of traffic jams. But that’s not all there is the variable of drivers who don’t have discipline not just on but also off their cars. First, on their cars, you may notice that some drivers don’t do proper signaling and that might cause trouble for others. And there are also drivers who counterflow in order to avoid the traffic in their side while causing one on the other. Second, off their cars, I can only think of one example for this is that even if the drivers are fully aware that they shouldn’t park there, they still do it anyway some don’t even park in orderly they just park there and with that the road for driving will be limited. I think that the better way to manage these kinds of problems is that we may have stricter laws and implying always. Because from the way I see it they have made the law and it was approved the only problem is that the people still do it. That may be because we are not implying it. I know we Filipinos are kind and giving to one another but law is law and if someone breaks there should be consequences. People don’t do it because they know that they will not be stopped. If we want to manage the traffic, manage the people first. And lastly, some of the roads are to narrow and most of them are the roads that many drivers use, it’s expected to be jammed because of that. The road should be widened enough to fit three lanes.
