One of the disadvantages of social media is that your whole life is saved on the internet forever. That means, nothing can be completely removed from your browser. If you are on social networks, everyone can find you there. So, it’s a big risk of being stalked by someone dangerous. They may find out where you live to rape or injure you because of such strange reasons, that not even them could complain it logically . Secondly,personal data and privacy can easily be hacked and shared on the social media which can make financial losses and loss to personal life. Similarly, identity theft is another issue that can give financial losses to anyone by hacking their personal accounts. Several personal twitter and Facebook accounts have been hacked in the past and the hacker had posted materials that have affected the individuals personal lives. This is one of the dangerous disadvantages of the social media and every user is advised to keep their personal data and accounts safe to avoid such accidents. Thirdly, the social networks will make you lazy too. You will spend too much time on reading blogs and writing statuses. However, in this time you could have gone to a public place or something else to meet your friends. Also, your grades at school may get worse because you spend your time for studying on browsing through the world wide web searching for new pieces od information or things to share with your friends. You soon can become addicted to social networks, which is obviously not good, but if you are careful and still use your free time spending with your friends and books for school, everything is alright.

The teenagers are the most affected by the addiction of the social media. They get involved very extensively and are eventually cut off from the society. It can also waste individual time that could have been utilized by productive tasks and activities. If a person gets addicted to social media, he or she can sit up for hours and hours without any real-life interaction which will be not only harmful to their eyes but also their mental health. The stunning lifestyle on the internet supports drug abuse by using terms such as “All cool people do drugs.” These kinds of statements influence the young teens to be a part of it. The excess usage of social media can also have a negative impact on the health. Since exercise is the key to lose weight, most of the people get lazy because of the excessive use of social networking sites. Which in result brings disorder in the routine life. This research by
