The success of Dilan Film was caused several factors such as the two-student love story which was very touching (Baper) and the two-primary actor/student played by Iqbal Ramadhan (Dilan) and Vanesha Prescilla (Milea) that was very popular due to their talent in acting and their handsomeness and beauty. However, on contrary, the success of Dilan 1990 Film wasn’t supported by society as a whole. Especially Dilan 1991 (The Second Film of Dilan) filmed lately. In Makassar, some people came from Komando Mahasiswa Merah Putih (Kompi) South Sulawesi demonstrated at XXI Movie, Panakukang Mall. They prevented this film to be filmed owing to some unreasonable scenes in it such as the mistreatment and oppression scenes of student to teacher, violence of motorcycle gang, and among students. Thereby, it is believed that this film is supposed to prevent. There are some reasons why people prevented this film. Firstly, it is unitivebly lately it had just happened mistreatment and oppression of student to teacher in some regions in Indonesia. For instance, in Gresik the student didn’t accept to be advised by teacher then the student got angry and maltreated his teacher by throwing the book and smoking in front of his teacher and even asking to fight. Definitely, by being filmed this will make the situation worse in which tending to direct the student to do the same thing. Secondly, this film teaches students at school to have motorcyle gang and finally ignoring the purpose of schooling and committing some vandalisms along with their motorcycle gang. As a final point, it is believed that this film has to be prevented so that the student can focus on studying and having strong character to be a successor of this country.
