Sat 9 May 2009.The DPM is yet again sounding off, but he does not seem to know that the future is dire for people like him. The BN is now digging its own grave in Perak. The people now have fully witnessed the shameless behaviour of the Perak BN which was supported by the spineless stooges who betrayed the trust of the voters and backed by the massive presence of the police and they know that it is really not much different from the conduct exhibited by Somali pirates off the Gulf of Aden. The pirates in the waters near the Gulf of Aden simply took what did not belong to them. And in doing so, they incurred the wrath of law-abiding folks around the world. The and the the

same can be said exactly of the Perak BN. Using trickery employing the services of shady characters and bypassing electoral box, the BN threw all ethics and principles to wind. It was pillage and theft nothing less.

The intention of the government to release more ISA detainees will not diminish in any way the anger of the public who must now be feeling that they had been hit by a legally-licenced robber in broad daylight. This act by the legally-licenced robber is a great disrespect and a glaring insult to the voters of Perak who had staked their faith in the democratic process. The use of pepper spray to force their way into the Speakers' sitting area shows that they are really no different from the behaviour of the Somali pirates. The police have again showed that they were fully prepared to back the BN robbers to the hilt. Opposition politicians were roughed up and many of the individuals who had gathered nearby to voice their disapproval were arrested. Nearly seventy people were hauled away in a very clear show of intimidation. These acts of political hooliganism by the Perak BN and the authorities will not be forgotten by the public in a hurry. The stink left behind by their shameless conduct will surely linger around for very many years to come. The Perak BN does NOT have a majority in the state Assembly. The two independents have the sword of damocles hanging over their heads. They could soon be appearing in court to face bribery and corruption charges. Should they get thrown into jail, their seats would become vacant. Pakatan is almost assured of recapturing their two seats should by-elections be held for them. This would lead to the state Pakatan regaining its irrefutable majority in the Perak Legislative Assembly. Then what ? ? Would the Perak BN use underhand methods to deny the Pakatan its rightful hold to power by creating trouble and declaring some form of emergency ? Would the BN use the police to put Pakatan's representatives behind bars and thereby preventing them from exercising their constitutional rights and duties ?

The next general elections could be due in two or three years' time and the intervening period is just too short to allow the public to forget or forgive the evil betrayal of the BN that is right now unfolding in Perak. If the BN gets whitewashed when that time arrives, the BN must never blame the public. The BN must never accuse the public of 'ingratitude' or whatever else. This is because the BN is right now busily digging its own grave. Dig on. It's your right. But remember, you have been forewarned. Happy digging.
