Luciano Miranda, was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. in June 30, 1960. Luciano married my mother Martha Guerrero and had seven children . My dad lived in Mississippi for years, he will visit us once in a while. I just remember seeing him for the last three years . Luciano was a happy, positive, and optimistic person. In 1999 the year when he started feeling sick, I remember seeing him vomiting blood , I was in

shock I couldn’t help him I couldn’t do anything to cure him. I felt sorry, I also remember screaming desperately asking for help, after that my mom arrived him to the hospital, three hours later the doctors told my mom that he was diagnosed with advanced cancer. The same day my dad called me to his bed and told me, ‘hija no te preocupes voy a estar mejor’ I couldn’t understand why he was telling me this, but i knew he was sick. I was exhausted i went to sleep I was tired and had the worse day. the next morning i woke up was getting ready to go to school, then my mom told me to go back to sleep that I was not going to school that day, I asked her why, she stayed quiet, then I see my dad’s room empty my neighbors and
