Eye-glasses
What are eye-glasses used for? • There are many different eye-glasses used for different things but I’m going to talk about three. • 1. Prescription eye-glasses are used for improving ones vision if they have difficulty seeing. • 2. Shaded eye-glasses are used to reduce the brightness from the sun’s rays. • 3. Entertainment eye-glasses are used for entertaining.
• An Italian physicist named Salvino degli Armati probably invented eyeglasses in around 1285. He shared the design of his new device with an Italian monk, Allesandro della Spina, who made public the invention and is often given credit for inventing eyeglasses. The main reason what led up to eyeglasses was people that had impaired vision
