A competition among many institutes whereby students setup and manage a company for a period of time and see who is able to make the most money;

Students from different faculty joined up and are involved in different parts of the company;

•

My design course mates are involved in designing a range of office accessories and the manufacturing of it while students from the business course took charge of the setting up of our company Gaiya

We won the following categories in the competition in 2004:

1) BHP Billiton Iron Ore Tertiary Company of the Year 2) Tertiary Business Plan Award 3) Department of Education & Training Overall Trade Fair Award

The item that I designed: A desktop cable tidy

It holds on to the ends of our wires so that they do not fall to the back of our desks

•A mood lighting product that makes use if incense to illuminate the light beams; •The swirling smoke creates a nice effect when the lights shine through it; •Adjustable light angle lets users customize their own personal effect.
