CALLING ALL FASHION DESIGNERS! This year’s Youth X Festival 09 will see it’s first ever, live fashion show, run as part of the National Youth Week celebrations of all things great by young people. AIM The aim of the fashion show is to display the talent and creativity of young aspiring fashion designers. For young designers, it is a great opportunity to get a real taste of showcasing your art in front of a crowd. THEME There is no specific theme and all creative designs are welcomed. WHO CAN ENTER? Any persons aged between 12-25 years. Residents living outside of the Canterbury district are also eligible. WHEN/DURATION The fashion show runs for 20mins and will start at 1:50pm. Designers and models are required to check in 40 minutes prior to the show. You will need to be present on the day of the event. MODELS We do prefer that you use your own models as it makes it easier for fittings (can be your friends/family) however if you cannot find a model for your design, we will provide model(s) for you. If you are using your own model, please ensure that they check in on time on the day of the event. DRESS REHERSAL A dress rehearsal will be organised 1 week leading to the event (date and time TBA but we will try to hold it at a convenient time at the Belmore Youth Resource Centre for everyone).
