What is included in a Design Brief?
Items to include are…. • General Information about the content covered in the design brief. • The Challenge • Materials Required to complete the design brief. • The process • How to assess the effectiveness of the solution.
It’s your turn…. • During this semester you have used countless design briefs, it is now your turn to produce a design brief (not one that we have done in class, it must be original). • This design brief should be geared for middle school students (6th -8th grade). • The format of your design brief should be similar to our Technology Education Lab Signage Assignment.
The Requirements • You will need to have your design brief, as well as enough copies for everyone in class (16 copies). • You will need to be able to explain your design brief to everyone in class (in presentation form). • You will need to have an example of all of the paperwork, and an example of the finished product for the design brief.
