So Mr., Jeter I may call you that when did you started playing baseball. I stared when I was only 5 and played in eats wood and west wood leagues. What was you favorite team back when you were young? My favorite team back then was the Yankees. When was your first homerun in the majors? The first homer I hit was May 2nd 1996 in my opening day against the Indians. The pitcher was Dennis Martinez.
