Declaration about the efficacy of cosmetic preparation – Botoceutical Following 30 respondents (at the age of 30 to 70, 27 females, 3 males) participated in the testing of cosmetic preparation Botoceutical on the basis of voluntary agreement: All respondents had no objective signs of skin disease, their skin reactivity was normal and they were not allergic. The product was applied two times a day by mild circular massage from wrinkle to wrinkle in the vicinity of lips, along the sides of the nose, eye and forehead. Neither subjective nor objective signs of the intoleration or any late reactions induced by testing of the preparation were not recorded during testing. Subjective feelings of tension, tingling at the sites of application, objective erythema, oedema, keratinisation of the skin were observed. 4. The respondents stated that the efficacy, i.e. wrinkles reduction and skin smoothing had started to exhibit as early as after two weeks. It was possible to detect the objective changes, like visible wrinkles reduction and skin smoothing after four weeks both in individuals and also in the whole group. Skin condition during the whole testing was also recorded by photodocumentation.
