MEN’S FELLOWSHIP: All men are invited to join us Friday, December 19th for 6:30am Mass followed by Fellowship at 7:00am. We will have coffee and doughnuts in the Multi-purpose room, a brief speaker, a group discussion, and close with a prayer promptly at 8:00am. This is a forum for men of our parish to develop supportive relationships, deepen their faith, and enjoy themselves. The Men’s Fellowship meets every Friday; feel free to join us when you can.

SPIRITUAL BOUQUET FOR OUR SISTER PARISH ST CATHERINE OF BETHLEHEM: St. Andrew Catholic Church became the sister parish of St. Catherine in Bethlehem on September 7, 2004. St. Andrew has given them support, both spiritually and financially. At this time, a spiritual bouquet is being prepared to strengthen the relationship between our parishes and to let their parishioners know that we continue to pray for the peace and justice that they need. If you would like to be included in the spiritual bouquet, please fill out a card this weekend with your spiritual offering and return it to the box at the church entrance. CALLING ALL 6TH-8TH GRADERS! EDGE RETREAT AT COVECREST: FEB. 13-15, 2009! th

Please join us for a youth retreat in the mountains on February 13 -15 2009. This retreat is open to all children in grades 6th, 7th, & 8th. The cost is $140/child and it includes meals, transportation, housing, and weekend activities! Money is due by January 15, 2009! We need to have at least 25 youth to make this event possible. Children are welcome to bring friends, as long as their parents know this is a Catholic retreat. All children will need to fill out permission slips and complete medical release forms!     ATTENTION MARRIED & ENGAGED COUPLES: Natural Family Planning will be held at St. Monica’s in Duluth this winter. The series has three classes – Sundays: January 18, February 15, and March 15 from 10am to 12:30pm in the parish RE building. Classes will give all the resources necessary to easily, simply and successfully practice NFP in your marriage. The classes are great for both married and engaged couples who are seeking to bring the relationship in accord with Church teaching, as well as those seeking to leading a more natural, healthy lifestyle. NFP is perfect for those couples having problems achieving pregnancy and also for those who wish to postpone pregnancy. Class materials include everything necessary to successfully practice NFP for a lifetime. You must register by January 11.
