First we have to create the new Sid name in the env file. If have any another Sid exist in env file comment that Sid. Check x-window display is working or not. Next run the Database configuration assistant command (dbca).

Create a new user by logging in as root user. Change the permissions of new user as user itself. Check for the permissions and ownership of /etc/oratab and /etc/oratab If If those are available Change the permissions of $ORACLE_HOME/dbs. Change the permissions of $ORACLE_BASE/admin. Change the permissions of $ORACLE_BASE/oradata. Comment the remote_login_password =’EXCLUSIVE’ in parameter file if Necessary.
