Company & Financial Data AMADEUS (European Private and Public companies), FAME (UK Private and Public companies) and OSIRIS (Global Public companies), all offer the ability to download accounts data into Excel. Availability for all of these databases except Capital IQ is global. Bloomberg

Capital IQ

Coverage: international companies, PE investment. It includes both public and private companies. It offers a wide range of different data, company profiles, financials, executives, subsidiaries, news and capital changes, stock data, peer group analysis and industry data. Offers downloadable accounts data as well as equity and bond data. Price data for pharmaceutical and healthcare sector indices can also be downloaded. Availability: Library only

Proquest ABI

Not just a database of management theory, PQD covers a large number of trade press sources which contain vital commentary on markets and products, including a wide range of healthcare and pharma topics. Use the subject list to look up the words and phrases used as indexing terms for both industries and concepts. Availability: global

Science Direct.

Provides access to a huge number of “health sciences” journals. Please note our subscription includes many but not all of the titles held in the database. Please note it is also possible to search the Medline database (abstracts only) from within Science Direct. Availability: global
