“You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy, that I might sing praises to You and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give You thanks forever!” Psalms 30:11-12 (NLT)
1.
A Foundation That Never Changes
“… They are foundational words, words to build a life on. If you work these words into your life, you are like a smart carpenter who built his house on solid rock. Rain poured down, the river flooded, a tornado hit – but nothing moved that house. It was fixed to the rock.” Matt. 7:24, 25 (Msg) “I am the Lord, and I do not change.” Mal. 3:6 (NLT)
2. A Flexibility That Accepts Change “…where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom.” 2 Cor.3:7 (NIV)
Our Purpose Statement: To help people experience Christ rather than man’s creation of religion, so they can grow strong in Christ and take the Christ experience to the world.
3. A Faith That Adapts to Change •
Life is sacred
•
Life is difficult
“Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” James 1:2-4 (NIV) “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” Rom. 8:28 (NIV)
4. A Future That Embraces Change “Behold, I make all things new.” Rev. 21:5 (KJV) “He has given me a new song to sing, of praises to our God.” Ps. 40:3 (LB)
