Announcements Red Mountain High School Date

General Announcements:  Would you like to donate blood? The first blood drive of the year will be held September 22nd. All 16 and 17 year olds must have parent permission. Stop by room 242 to sign up and pick up a permission slip. You can also pick up a permission slip at the front reception desk.  Don’t forget if you are interested in volunteer service, come to the Lost boys Club meeting today at lunch in room 411. We will be electing new officers.  Spanish Club is celebrating Mexican Independence Day with a potluck of Hispanic food. Come join the fun today at 12:30 in room 270.  Are you a Wildcat fan thinking about attending the U of A? Then you might want to visit their representative and view a presentation on Monday, September 21st during 2nd hour. Are you a Sun Devil fan and want to attend ASU? Their representative will be in the Career Center on Tuesday, September 22nd during 2nd hour. If you would like to attend any of these sessions you must sign up in the Career Center.  Are you in the process of applying to college? Stop by the Career Center tomorrow at lunch and we will help you through the process. We are here to answer your questions about applications, transcripts, and scholarships. Bring your lunch!  Do you want to take the PSAT’S? Open enrollment begins today. Hurry; there are only 250 slots available. The test will be Saturday, October 17th during fall break. The cost is $19 and you can sign up in the Bookstore.  Hayden School Supply will be here Friday, Sept. 18th in the Cafeteria selling letterman jackets. Order yours now. A deposit will be required.  The first late start of the year will be Wednesday, Sept. 16th. First hour begins at 9:30 AM. If you are late your parent must come inside to sign you in. No phone calls will be accepted. If you take the bus to school, busses will pick up approximately 2 hours later than normal.
