To: "Emmerling, Kim" Kim we finally got the police report with a information blacked out. I am requesting to find out if we can have a copy without the black out information such as a name of someone there, and information about Ty. Is this information being legally withheld?. Can we know the legal reason for it being withheld. Also we are again requesting the CD interviews of my mom and Ty. Can we have your help in knowing how, is it our legal right and who to contact to get this information. We have not been able to get anything without a letter from the DA office giving us permission along with phone calls to his office. This seems strange to me. Also the report says that the officer went to a house on Happy Hill to interview witnesses. We looked up the address and it does not exist. What is the address or who is the witness? Kim I am requesting that you formally find out if my mother who is over 70 has a right to have a family member represent her in following up on this case. What document does she need. Please contact nova or another agency to get the facts on this. Also if as a step daughter what are my rights. Please respond to my request.
