TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION FOR PREINSULATED RING TYPE LT CT. 1.0 SCOPE This specification covers the manufacture, testing & supply of for Pre insulated Ring Type LT CTs suitable for C.T. operated meters to be installed on Distribution Transformers. 2.0 SERVICE CONDITIONS The Pre insulated Ring Type LT CTs to be supplied against this specification shall be suitable for satisfactory operation under the normal temperature, humidity, rainfall, and wind pressure conforming to ISS 2705/1981 3.0 CONSTRUCTION The CTs should have class of accuracy: 1, VA Burden: 10. The CTs should be preferably of the make: AE/GYRO/KETCO. 4.0 NAME PLATE AND MARKING In addition to the requirement as per IS following shall be marked on the nameplate. 1. Order No. 2. Month & Year of manufacture. 3. Name of Purchaser i.e. M.S.E.D.C.L.

5.0 PRE-DISPATCH INSPECTION The inspection shall be carried out at the place of manufacturer, unless otherwise specially agreed upon by the manufacturer & Purchaser at the time of purchase. The manufacturer shall offer to the inspector representing the purchaser all the reasonable facilities, free of charge, for inspection to satisfy him that the material is being supplied accordance with his specifications.
