School officials (eg. GC, Dean of Discipline, principal) can also attend. •
Dress code for orientation: Parent and child to be attired appropriately NYS standard (no, short skirt, no sleeveless, no shorts, no earrings for males, 1 pair earring for females, shirt properly tucked in with no lewd slogan etc)

Standard NYS attire when boarding bus on the morning of the camp start-up ie. White T-shirt and black pants/skirt or Jeans.
Components • PHASE 1: Residential for 3 weeks (no visitation will be allowed outside of Parents day): curriculum will be delivered in Anger Management, Conflict Resolution, Sports, Drama, Etiquette, Personal Development, Behavior Management etc. NB: There will be a Parents’ Day held as follows: camp 1- Saturday, July 26, 2008 Camp 2- Saturday, August 2, 2008. Parents will be transported by NYS. Mobilization to be made by CSO and communicated to Janet so transportation arrangements can be made by Mr. Walker Graduation: camp 1- July 31, 2008 at 10:00 a.m Camp 2- August 5, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. Parents are invited to attend but will make their own transportation arrangement

PHASE 2 : Follow-up intervention which last for the academic year beginning September 2008 and ending in June, 2009. 4 elements: -a) enrichment workshops( for students and parents) b) mentoring programme: mentors to be recruited by CSO. Training of mentors will be facilitated by the programme thru the head office c) school visits ( an instrument will be given to GC to chart progress of each student as well as periodic visits will be made by CSOs to monitor progress of the students) d) post referral counseling( for students recommended by the psychologist). e) community service: project to be undertaken by each parish cluster of participants coordinated by CSO. Closing Ceremony * There is a closing exercise where all students who complete the programme will receive certificate of completion. Parents will be recognized if they participate in workshops. Mentors will be recognized as well. Special awards will be given to students who have made significant improvement in conduct, academic and participation in extra-curricular activities. Once completed and meet the basic age/ grade requirement, students are eligible to apply to participate in National Summer Employment Programme * 70 students will be awarded via an incentive trip based on improvement. NB: All the special events EXCEPT career expo that are held on our regular camps are held on the Success camp to include pageant, formal dinner, sports day. Career day is replaced by Parents’ day. On completion of the one year prgoramme Parents are invited to attend the closing ceremony but as usual will need to make their own arrangements for transportation.
