Introduction In 2 – 3 paragraphs, introduce the definition and importance of networking. Scope of the Study In 3-5 paragraphs, discuss the following: a. nature of the study b. application/s of the study c. classes of IP d. Ping command e. Windows Net Meeting or equivalent instant messaging application Project Design Illustrate the connection of resources used in your study, and explain the function of each material. Show the following: a. Wiring Connection – include the color-coding b. Connection of Computers Research

This may include internet cafés, a networked system of a certain company and the like. Illustrate and explain how they protect and maintain their network. Defense schedule is Oct. 10, 2009. The time allotted per group is the group’s class schedule. You must come to your defense schedule on time. A group that will not present during their class schedule time will not be entertained and will be given a grade of 5.00. Each group must prepare a powerpoint presentation that includes all of the topics mentioned above. Each member must discuss a topic. The group leader will grade each member according to his performance and cooperation in doing the case study. The defense will serve as you final exam Dress code is strictly formal. Female members may wear slacks or skirt. Male members must wear long sleeves and tie. Secure a pass-in/pass-out form from the building administrator days before your defense schedule.
