Dear Ms. Tucci: On the website Indeed, I saw KIPP: Tech Valley Primary Charter School is hiring kindergarten through third grade teachers. I would like to discuss the kindergarten co-teacher position. My creativity and passion for learning makes me an ideal candidate for KIPP: Tech Valley. In addition to those qualities my experience as an assistant teacher at Learning Ladder Preschool and the education classes I am taking at Arizona State University makes me the perfect applicant for the teaching position. I have been working at Learning Ladder Preschool since January, 2019. I have improved my leadership skills with hands on experience in the classroom. My creativity has helped me succeed in lesson planning that captures the students attention. The parents are also amazed at the knowledge their children come home with each day. I often stay at work after the children leave to prepare the lesson for the next day. My ability to make learning fun using creative lesson plans and hard work ethic makes me the perfect applicant for KIPP. While working at Learning Ladder Preschool, I have continued to embrace my own love of learning. I continue to work towards my bachelors degree. My classes at Arizona State University have taught me subject- based knowledge, especially mathematics, and pedagogy. I have become CPR and first aid certified as part of a specific course. My passion for learning is not limited to my degree, I enjoy learning French, mathematics, and improving my crafting ability in my free time. The courses I have completed, my love of learning, and ability to incorporate my knowledge in the classroom makes me the ideal candidate to teach kindergarten at KIPP: Tech Valley.
