Learning Assistant

Duties:

Closely work with student-athletes one to three times per week helping them develop effective time management and study skills, assess student-athletes after each meeting, meet with a learning specialist once weekly to discuss and assess the progress of student-athletes, and attend training sessions.

Skills Required:

Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to impart academic skills to student-athletes from diverse backgrounds and different skill levels.

Qualifications:

Must be currently enrolled in a graduate program at USC. Work-study is preferred, but not necessary. Previous teaching experience is a plus. 3.0 overall GPA is required.

Hours:

Vary, mostly evenings
