To give commands to Usted or Ustedes, you drop the "o" from the present tense yo form and adding an ending that has the opposite vowel.
Simple Formula
Yo, drop the “o”, add the opposite ending. (AR=e(n), ER/IR-a(n)
Examples: (Usted) ¡Hable lentamente! Or with tener:
CAR, GAR, ZAR
Irregulars
(Ustedes) ¡Hablen lentamente!
(Usted) ¡No tenga (Ustedes) ¡No tengan miedo! miedo! Verbs that end in -car, -gar and -zar will have a spelling change to preserve prounciation: buscar (Ud.) ¡Busque! / pagar (Ud.) ¡Pague! / empezar (Ud.) ¡Empiece!
