An indirect object stands for an indirect object noun. It can take the place of the indirect object noun or can be used together with it.

Placement- Where does it go?

Indirect object pronouns follow the same placement rules as reflexive and direct object pronouns. They can attach to the end of an infinitive or can be placed before a conjugated verb.
