High School Academic Reflection Spring You are now about twenty months away from high school graduation. Over the course of those months, you will be starting to make decisions about who you are as a young adult, where you want to be, and what you want to do with your life beyond high school. Take a moment to reflect on where you have been and where you are going.

Think of a class that you have had success with over the course or your high school career. Why do you think you were successful in this particular class? What did you do to help yourself? What did your teacher do? What have you discovered about what works for you as a learner? Over my high school career a course that I have exeled in is science. I think I do very good in science class because I have alwyas been a fan of science so it justr comes naturally. I get alot of things stamped early espically in Biology so help boast my grade. My teachers help me whenver I need and they also give alot of freedom within the class. Now think of a class that you have struggled with in some way. Why do you think you had a harder time with this particular class? What did you do/not do that might have impacted the experience? What might have helped? Math I was always sturggeled in because I get very stressed easy and math takes alot of mistakes and error. I tend to give up easy in math so it makes it ahrder for me to actually learn the math process but also another thing that help contribute to my horriblke math skills in the new math program whcih only pretains to this year. At this point, where do you see yourself when you graduate from high school? College, J.C., trade school, work world, travel,....? I see myslef as a more mature inepent young lady ready to jump right into college. I will be going to the JC for 2 years to get my courses that I an forced to take then switch to a college do pursue my degree. What goals will you have to accomplish, academically speaking, in order to get yourself to where you want to be? I need to learn how to focus on my math acedemics inorder to succeed in colege level math.

What SPECIFIC strategies could you adopt over the course of this year to help yourself? I could learn to be more understnading of mistakes in math and learn to focus on the process to get the answer.
