Check Area around equipment clean Pump drains clear & properly connected Equipment identified & Marked properly by paint Tightness Tightness No looseness No looseness for freeness of pump for freeness of motor fan No looseness, properly secured to shaft Coupling Gap within limits Alignment within limits Flexible elements of couplings are installed Installed properly Connected at inidicated level filled & installed Done Done Gland packing done with adequate margin Properly installed & secured to shaft Check Installation Sealing lines installed Properly tightened with gaskets Properly tightened with gaskets closed & plugged in open condition No leakage from gland or mechanical seal or pump body in open condition in open condition in open condition in open condition Ensure in clean condition Established Ensure Ascertain & Marked properly Check - settings ok Ensure pump designation marked on it
