Contract

Contract This Contract is made effective upon the signage of the Booking Form, by the pet owner. In this Agreement, the party who is contracting to receive the services shall be referred to as “Owner”, and the party who will be providing the services shall be referred to as “Fox and Hound”. Whereas the Owner wishes to engage Fox and Hound, and Fox and Hound agrees to undertake the services under the terms and provisions defined in this Contract as well as the Booking Form which shall bind this Contract. Any reference to pets in this contract shall refer to those specified on the Booking Form. Description of Services: Fox and Hound will provide services agreed on by both the Owner and Fox and Hound. These services shall be outlined in the Booking Form. Responsibilities: a. Fox and Hound shall perform the agreed-on services in an attentive, reliable and caring manner and the Owner undertakes to provide all necessary information to assist in this performance. b. Fox and Hound shall notify the Owner of any occurrence pertaining to the pet(s) which may be relevant to the care and well-being of the pet(s) but will not be held responsible. c. In an event in which veterinary assistance is required, the Owner will repay Fox and Hound for veterinary bills and other expenses related to the incident. c. Applicable only to Group Dog Walking Services: Fox and Hound reserves the right to walk other compatible dogs at the same time but undertakes to limit the number of dogs walked with one person to four. d. The Owner will provide suitable harnesses, collars and leads, as approved by Fox and Hound as well as coats or muzzles if required. e. Fox and Hound shall not be obliged to perform any other duties except those specified on the Booking Form. f. In the event that Fox and Hound is unable to carry out the service due to reasons such as ill health, Fox and Hound is eligible to ask a trusted friend or family member to carry out the service instead but must inform the Owner of the changes. g. Fox and Hound reserve the right to refuse walking female dogs who are in season, or male dogs who have not been castrated. h. Applicable only to cat owners: If the Owner has allowed Fox and Hound to let the cat outside, or to use a cat flap, Fox and Hound will not be held responsible if the cat goes missing or is injured whilst outside. i. Fox and Hound agrees to comply with the laws and legislations of GDPR.

Contract Cancelation Policy: If notice of cancellation is not given within 7 days prior to the day of service, the Owner will be charged half of the originally agreed amount. If notice of cancellation is not given within 24 hours prior to the day of service, the Owner will be charged the full amount originally agreed. Payment for Services: Fox and Hound shall be paid the agreed-on amount before or on the day of service. When an Invoice is given, Fox and Hound shall be paid the agreed-on amount, as written in the Invoice, within 30 days after the Invoice has been delivered. For payments of £20 or over a minimum deposit of £10 is required to secure a booking. This is non-refundable. Term/Termination: This contract shall terminate automatically after the payment and the service has been carried out.
