Consequence

Consequence Dreaming while I'm awake, it's almost more than I can take. One reality cut in half, feeling far away my thoughts soak in a warm bath. With you behind me, arms wrapped around me, lips on my skin, as we hear a lucid din, welcoming us, eyes smiling, no more wonder why' ing. Just this acceptance, in my dream like present tense.
