WHEN TO COUNSEL? 1. On-the-spot corrections did not work. 2. Soldier has an attitude change that lasts one or more days. 3. Soldier goes from being a good soldier to getting into trouble. 4. Soldier is consistently not performing to standards.

5. Any drastic change for the worse in soldier’s behavior. 6. Others tell you that soldier is having problems. 7. Soldier asks for your help.
