Guidelines for Authors

April 18, 2007 COMMUNE-07 is a society of M.Tech.( Electronics & Communication Engineering ) students at National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra. It aims at stimulating a highly interactive environment to provide a platform to exchange state-of-the-art technologies and ideas. It is also meant to discuss best practices and challenging issues to raise awareness and share ideas among M.Tech./M.E./M.S. students of Electronics & Communication Engg./Computer Science & Engg.

Call For Papers COMMUNE-07 is going to organize a one day Technical Paper Presentation Event on “Emerging Trends & Applications in Communication Technology” on April 18, 2007, and invites technical papers on relevant technology from the students of M.Tech./M.E./M.S. on the topics listed below, but not limited to,: ¾ ¾ ¾ ¾ ¾ ¾ ¾

The manuscript to be submitted should not exceed six pages in length. E-mail your paper at [email protected] in both PDF & DOC format. Papers will be accepted only on the recommendation of technical committee. ¾ Manuscript should be typed on A4 size paper leaving 25mm margin on all sides. ¾ Times New Roman font to be used (MS word 2000 or higher versions). ¾ Title of the paper in font size 14 (Bold) ¾ Names of the authors with initials should be typed in capitals, one space below the title in font size 12 (centered), followed by affiliation and e-mail address of the corresponding author. The text should be started two spaces below the e-mail address (font size 10, justified with 1.0 line spacing), single column. ¾ Font size for section title should be 12 (bold face) ¾ Figures and tables should be suitably reduced and placed at appropriate places with numbers and caption below them. ¾ Papers can be authored by maximum 2 students. ¾ Proceedings of the orally presented papers will be brought out and made available to the registered author(s). ¾ Registration will be on the spot with fee of Rs. 100/- per participant in cash.
