The South Worcestershire Joint Core Strategy Preferred Options Paper Response Form September 2008

How to comment on the South Worcestershire Core Strategy Preferred Options What we have done Malvern Hills, Worcester City and Wychavon District Councils have joined together to produce a Joint Core Strategy for South Worcestershire which will provide the overarching planning policies for South Worcestershire until 2026. We have gathered evidence from a number of sources, and taken account of the comments which were made last autumn when we consulted on a range of Issues and Options for tackling the challenges facing South Worcestershire. As a result we have produced the Joint Core Strategy Preferred Options. Public Consultation on the Preferred Options will take place between Friday 19th September 2008 and Friday 31st October 2008. There is a summary of the Preferred Options document available, but in order to respond effectively to this consultation you will need to refer to the full document. Copies of all the Preferred Options documents can be downloaded from the South Worcestershire Joint Core Strategy website and also viewed at the following locations during normal opening hours:

This includes independent studies on topics

such as retail, employment, green belt, housing land availability. There is also a Consultation Statement which outlines the process and responses to consultations carried out so far. All information relating to the Preferred Options can be viewed at the above locations, and downloaded from the website.

How do you Comment? To make a representation on the Preferred Options you should use the consultation comment form. You should consider what it is you want to comment on and let us know whether you support or oppose this particular element of the document explaining your reasoning, and suggest any improvements. You should use a separate comment sheet for each specific policy, paragraph, map or table you wish to comment on and attach these to the contact details sheet.
