Dr. Dulay discussed about oral cancers and Dr. Tutor discussed about HIV, the signs and symptoms and how it affects the patient. Treatments were also discussed. We learned a lot in that conference. Knowledge is key to dentistry and learning about them can be our advantage. After that we went to CEU malolos to continue our clinical requirements.

I did multiple restoration to the other family members and another oral prophylaxis. Community Dentistry is very rewarding subject. We get to adoot a family, treat them and see them smile and that is what we chose dentistry in the first place. To treat them is rewarding enoigh, but to see them smile at yku and you see your work is pleasure to our hearts. After that we went back to Centro Escolar University Malolos for our classes.

Community Dentistry III Feb 20, 2019

We went to Bangkal for our Community Dentistry. The call time was 7 am and I prepared the instrument to be used for restoration and extraction of tooth. I contacted my adopted family for their scheduled rehabilitations and I was able to accomplish multiple restorations and extractions on that day. Upon arriving, they were there and I performed restoration on their teeth and extraction. Sadly the father did not get to have his tooth extracted due to highblood pressure. The daughter was brave and she did not cry when she has her tooth extracted. After recording my finished work on the WHO forms, I allowed the family to return home. We went back to CEU shortly afterwards.
