Case 1 A 52 – year old hypertensive male complained of headache and became unconscious. He was admitted and eventually expired after one month . Autopsy was done with the following findings.

Case 1 1. Given the previous autopsy findings, give your diagnosis . 2. Give the gross and microscopic findings. 3. Give the etiology .

Case 1 4. Also discuss the etiology of subarachnoid hemorrhage and combined intracerebral & subarachnoid bleed.

Case 2 A 5 – year old boy complained of headache with high grade fever. When he was admitted, he was noted to already have decreased sensorium. Physical examination showed the presence of nuchal rigidity. Patient expired after two weeks.

Case 3 • A 60 year old male complained of headache and right-sided body weakness. He has been previously diagnosed with bronchogenic carcinoma. He was admitted to the hospital and eventually expired after one month. Autopsy was performed.
