Make directory as Clone in that udump bdump cdump arch log data controlfile Cp all the information to the specified directories like data for .dbf Cp the trace file to home directory and modify the RESET TO SET AND NORESTLOG TO RESTLOG AND change the name of database to CLONE From the home directory cp the init$ORACLE_SID.ora file to initCLONE.ora Change the name of db_name Specified parametes like udump bdump cdump and controlfile arch Export ORACLE_SID=CLONE Startup the db in nomount stage Run the script of controfile Recover databasae using backup controlfile until cancel; Alter database open resetlogs;
