CLIMATE ACTION RALLY OCTOBER 24, 1-3 pm PIONEER COURTHOUSE SQUARE PORTLAND, OREGON
WHAT IS 350? 350 is a global movement to stop global warming. Scientists have determined 350ppm to be the maximum safe level of excess CO2 in the atmosphere. Right now, we’re at about 387 and adding 2ppm each year. For the last 500,000 years the level has been 280ppm. We are about to cook the planet, and there is no place else for us to go. Help us raise awareness of this looming crisis. Join with the rest of the world on October 24 as we participate in the
International Day of Climate Action (www.350.org) with music, dance, art and speakers in Pioneer Courthouse Square. BIKE PARADE from Col. Summers Park at SE 20th & Belmont!
