Northeast Ohio
Environmental Justice Town Hall Meeting Saturday, March 7, 2009 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM Levin College Atrium, Cleveland State University Euclid Ave. & E 17th St. Buckeye Environmental Network
You’re invited!
All Ohioans have a RIGHT to clean/safe air, water, food, and housing. Citizens are asking: “Who is looking out for our best interests when our health and safety are at risk?” Environmental injustice happens when disadvantaged communities are forced to bear an unfairly large part of the burden we all place on the environment.
HEAR from people like you whose health is threatened by environmental injustices. Their story may be the same as yours, or you may have a different story to tell. LEARN more about the problems in our communities and ideas for solutions, including a proposed Environmental Justice bill for the State of Ohio.
