Classroom Management Class Dojo was used as the main incentive driven classroom management system in my internship classroom. Through Dojo students were awarded points for positive behavior such as “helping other, on task, participation, team work, and transitions.” We used the points for both whole class and individual rewards. We were also able to use Class Dojo as a form of communicating with parents. We would post pictures and send parents updates weekly.
Class Dojo Good Day Grand Prix, is a behavior reward system that I have used with younger students. Students are each given a car with their name on the endless race track. Twice a day students reflect on their own behavior, and how well they followed the classroom rules. When they have a good day, their car moves, and if it lands on a gas pump, students are allowed to pick a prize from the treasure box.
