CLOTHESLINE CLUB If you are a fan of 1930 prints you will enjoy this club that meets every 4 -6 weeks for a fun class of projects and discussions of that bygone era. Be the first to purchase new collections that come in 4 times a year. Always a fun time and a great snack! Sessions are $10 each (does not include fabrics). Sat May 16 & July 25 10 – 12 LETS PLAY PAPER DOLLS Remember playing with your favorite paper dolls when you were young? Bring that same joy to your daughter or granddaughter by making her a set of her own. PAPER DOLL QUILT Make a charming quilt using this popular paper doll fabric. The dolls become your focus block and the coordinating prints make up the surrounding blocks of nine patches, four patches and variations of those blocks. Pattern included in class fee. ALPHABET QUILT Try this super simple appliqué technique. Print your letters onto lightweight paper, layer the fabrics, stitch on the line, then trim the letter. What could be easier? BEGINNER SERIES RAIL FENCE QUILT This introduction to quilting class will show you simple cutting and strip piecing techniques. It is a great starter quilt that concentrates on basic skills. As with all our classes we provide Bernina sewing machines for classroom use but some sewing must be done at home. MACHINE QUILTING TECHNIQUES Designs can be easily quilted using your walking foot for straight lines and soft curves or your darning foot for free motion work. You will work on small samples in class which will become reference pieces for future work. Don’t be intimidated by your sewing machine! FLOORQUILTS Try your hand at making a floorquilt! It’s lot’s of fun and easy to do. These classes will be in a lecture demo format as most of the prep work needs drying time. We will show you what you need to do at home to prepare for week two. The samples in the store are over a year old and continue to look fabulous! Text required. BIRDIE SLING This class continues to be popular so here it is again. This neat BIG bag holds lots of STUFF and is easy to make. This will be one of your favorite carry-all bags. Pattern required. It can be worn as a sundress, jumper, or topper with a t-shirt and pants. The simple construction and fit lends itself to the most novice sewer. Pattern required. This popular toy makes a great gift for children of all ages. Put your own personal twist on his demeanor. We have socks in traditional brown and in a blue denim color. Some hand sewing required.
