BASIC FUNCTIONS: The Class Instructor is responsible for the planning class cirriclulum and providing enjoyable, challenging, and meaningful instruction. Class Instructor will coordinate times and days with Program Director and will keep FFK staff updated with roster changes. Duties include: • planning class cirriculum • keeping a roster of students • submit names of new students to Program Director • coordinating time/day of class with Program Director • attend annual Instructor Orientation QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of area to be taught Good communication skills Experience as an instructor (preferred) TIME COMMITMENT: 4 – 8 weeks, one hour per week for seasonal or on-going classes. SUPPORT PROVIDED: Instructor Orientation is provided. In addition, the FiftyForward staff is available on an ongoing basis to answer questions and provide assistance as needed.
