BRANDON MOORE (BASEBALL: PITCHING) (765) 401-6220 Call for lessons.

NY Mets Minor League Pitcher. Brandon led the entire Mets organization last summer in E.R.A. (2.09); opponents batting average (.206) and WHIP (0.95) in pitching for the Brooklyn Cyclones. Brandon also pitched the first no-hitter in Cyclone history in August. He was a 14th round draft pick in 2008 after finishing an All-American career at Indiana Wesleyan University where he set several school records. Moore is a 2004 graduate of Crawfordsville High School where he was 1st Team All-State, an Indiana All-Star, and led the state in strikeouts his senior year.

Red Sox Minor League Catcher and Infielder. Will completed his third year in the Red Sox organization in the summer of 2009. Vasquez is from Ohio where he graduated from Berea High School in 2003. He accepted a baseball scholarship from Kent State University where he was the starting catcher for four years before being drafted by the Red Sox in 2007. Will lives in Crawfordsville during the off-season.

Crawfordsville High School Varsity Assistant Coach/Pitching Coach. 2010 will mark Wellieverʼs 25th year as the pitching coach at CHS. Crawfordsville is known statewide for their outstanding pitchers over the past two decades. Pitchers coached by Welliever have gone on to garner many state-wide awards including four first-team all-state pitchers in the past six years. CHS also set a modern-day state record for most strikeouts by a pitching staff in 2008, when they struck out 396 batters (the most in Indiana since 1973). CHS has had 14 pitchers go on to pitch in college in the last 15 years. He was named “Assistant Coach of the Year” for Indiana in 2005.

BRETT MOTZ (BASEBALL: HITTING)

Motz helped lead CHS to a state title in 2008 and a 29-3 record in 2009. He is a former Varsity Head Coach at North Putnam High School where he coached the Cougars to consecutive 20-win seasons. Motz is a 1995 graduate of Crawfordsville where he was a 12-letter winner in 4 sports. In baseball, he was a High School All-American; first-team All-State shortstop; an Indiana All-Star and held the state career hits record for 13 years. Motz earned a baseball scholarship to Division I University of Evansville, where he was a four-year starter. After college, he was a graduate assistant baseball coach at Purdue . He currently is the strength and conditioning coach at CHS.

Froedge was a 1999 graduate of Crawfordsville High School where he was a four year letter winner in baseball. He was also selected to play for the Indiana Bulls in 1999. He played college baseball at Anderson University and Indiana Wesleyan University. Brandon excelled as a utility player and switch hitter on each team. He has served as infield coach for Crawfordsville High School as well as leading the Tuttle 8th grade baseball team.

Britney (Froedge) Carpenter graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 2002 as an Indiana All-Star and was selected 1st Team All-State. She then went on to play for four years at Indiana Wesleyan University where she earned NAIA 2nd Team AllAmerican honors and was selected as Conference and Regional Player of the Year her Jr. and Sr. seasons. She holds several hitting records at CHS and IWU. Britney was the Varsity softball coach at Heritage Christian School in Indianapolis in 2008 before returning to Crawfordsville.
