Newsletter is historically accurate and covers the major events and importance of the battle. Student’s writing was clever and engaging. S/he used the format of the newsletter to convey the feeling of the battle and gives the reader a sense of the time. Students maintained the perspective of a northerner or a southerner consistently through their writing. All articles have headlines that capture the reader's attention and accurately describe the content. All graphics have captions that adequately describe the people and action in the graphic. Students used a variety of high quality resources and incorporated appropriate resources. Students documented all sources appropriately in their bibliography.
